- Should be proficient in Tamil, preferably Graduate / Post Graduate in Tamil Language.
- Must be a voracious reader in Tamil, have ear for poetry, passion for movies, and working knowledge in English.
- Must have fast reading skills and flair for creative writing.
- Highly motivated, must be able to work effectively and independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Designation: Operations Manager – Tamil
Essential Qualifications:
- Prior experience of production in Tamil film or television industry as line producer or executive producer.
- Must have passion for films and be devoted to the craft of storytelling for divergent audiences.
- Experience in a fast-paced production environment with exceptional attention to detail and film production management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Must be a team-player; strong interpersonal skills with an ability to lead teams, demonstrate collaborative problem solving abilities and good at multi-tasking.
- Right mix of skills and creativity, good judgement and must be a fast learner.
- Should be Computer-savvy and working knowledge of any budgeting and scheduling software will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities (Include but not limited to):
- Oversee every stage of the film production process – from script through post production.
- Partner with internal stakeholders i.e. screenplay writers, directors, creative teams etc. for establishing film production schedules.
- Assess key talent requirements; facilitate the hire of promising actors and film crew. v Oversee resource management in various stages of content creation across genres.
- Ensure high quality, on-time delivery and on-budget execution of film- production.
